Captured data center evidence for your DR engagements

For business continuity and DR consultancies. MKDC adds what interview-driven engagements cannot produce on their own: evidence of the operational data center estate, captured read-only and packaged in a reproducible witness bundle. You keep the analysis, the exercises, the program, and the client.

What we add to your engagement

Continuity programs document what stakeholders tell them. When an examiner samples the estate and finds hosts, volumes, or VLANs the runbooks never mention, the program takes the finding. MKDC captures what is actually running, so your recommendations rest on evidence an examiner can re-run.

You get that capability without hiring infrastructure engineers or building capture tooling.

How the scope splits

  • MKDC: inventory, L2/L3 topology, and dependency map from read-only API capture from management planes.
  • MKDC: technical recovery runbooks ordered by the dependency map, a compliance gap worklist, and the witness bundle.
  • Your firm: business impact analysis and recovery strategy.
  • Your firm: the narrative report and executive presentation.
  • Your firm: tabletop exercises, failover testing, and ongoing program management.

How a joint engagement runs

MKDC's scope is a fixed fee and runs 4–6 weeks, so it fits inside your engagement plan without open-ended hours.

  • We qualify scope together: audit timeline, frameworks, and estate shape.
  • MKDC runs read-only capture and validation while your team runs BIA workshops.
  • We hand capture-derived artifacts to your team for strategy, the report, and exercises.
  • The client reviews the combined deliverables with its audit stakeholders.

Three ways to work together

Pick the model that fits each client. Terms for each are agreed in writing with your firm.

  • You refer, MKDC delivers: the client contracts with us for captured estate evidence; you stay on the program work. We refer the other way too — clients who need a BIA, facilitated exercises, program ownership, or a practitioner opinion.
  • Joint engagement: each firm contracts its own scope with the client, and the deliverables are planned to fit together.
  • You prime: your firm holds the client contract and resells MKDC's scope at a fixed wholesale price, under your engagement.

Which of your clients fit

  • An on-premises data center estate — virtualization, network, storage — rather than cloud-only infrastructure.
  • An audit, exam, or certification date within the next two quarters.
  • A framework we map evidence to: FFIEC BCM, SOC 2 CC9, SOX ITGC, HIPAA contingency, HHS 405(d) HICP, and ISO 22301 BCMS subset.
  • A vendor stack we capture today — see "Do you support our vendor stack?" in the FAQ. A coverage estimate answers this for a specific client.

You keep the client

MKDC does not sell program management, exercises, or BIA facilitation. Leads are registered in writing, and we do not solicit partner clients.
